An international event not to be missed, this awards ceremony will showcase all the best and brightest ideas from the cerebral palsy community.
CPActive will be hosting a special virtual event to celebrate World Cerebral Palsy Day, bringing together people with cerebral palsy, technology and research innovators, as well as donor organisations and major Cerebral Palsy Alliance partners from right across the world.
We’ll be showcasing a few of the very best ideas that have been shortlisted from the 2022 World CP Day competition, and a final winner will be announced, live to air.
The event is brought to you by a group of CPActive Champions – part of the next generation of young leaders in Australia who are activating a grassroots movement of young people with cerebral palsy advocating for change.
You’ll get a chance to hear from people with cerebral palsy or similar disabilities from across the world with bright ideas for innovation, in discussion with scientists, tech gurus and entrepreneurs about how to make this change come to life.
When: 10am AEST, Friday October 14
Where: You’ll receive a Zoom Webinar link ahead of the event
Who: Absolutely everyone is welcome – whether you are a person with cerebral palsy or another disability, part of the wider disability community, from the business sector or part of a tech startup.
RSVP: Please register to attend the event
This is a virtual black-tie, red carpet inspired event – which means we want you to wear whatever makes you feel special. It might be a tie, a fancy hat, a headband or maybe your favourite jewellery. Wear something that makes you feel like a star.
Auslan and captioning will be provided, if you have any additional access requirements or questions please email email@example.com
