A new era of advocacy – how voices of people with CP changed the game in NSW

Tuesday, May 23, 2023 | 6pm

The 2023 NSW election has been the seeding ground for a new era of advocacy where campaigns are run and won entirely by people with lived experience

Come and hear from us, CPActive Champions, about how we created a campaign that will now change the way that thousands of young people with disabilities journey from school to work in NSW – and what’s next.

You’ll get to hear all about the inside tactics of the campaign and learn how to apply them yourself – OR simply hear about how you can get involved in the CPActive campaign right now.

Whether you are a parent wanting to find out more about the new ways that young people with cerebral palsy are changing the country and the exciting potential ahead for your child – or someone who wants to show up and support people with disability in having their voice heard – this event is for you.

We encourage anyone and everyone to turn up and hear about the new era of advocacy (and, if you’re not sure what advocacy is, then you are about to find out all about it!)

This event, alike the Blaze the Trail campaign itself, will be hosted entirely by people with cerebral palsy and we would love to have everyone show up and support us.

Register for the event now! We can’t wait to see you there.
